Keep Your Appointments With God
The best investment a worship leader can make into their ministry is to develop a regular devotion time with the Lord.  Some of us call it T.A.G. Time, or Time Alone with God.  Our dayplanners fill up quickly with busyness.  And though these appointments are important, they must never take precedent over devotional time spent with the Father.  We pour out from our spiritual buckets every week.  Eventually our buckets get empty and need to be replenished.  Our abilities to lead worship will deminish as our personal worship time deminishes.  So schedule a time to regularly meet with God, and never cancel that appointment.  The best worship leaders in the world are first and foremost worshippers!
