After a four year absence from the recording studio, we are THRILLED to announce that Avery is back in the studio. This sixth album is entitled ... uhhhhhhh ... well we're not gonna let the cat out of the bag just yet ;-) But here's what we CAN tell you:
Producing the album is Eddie M. Eddie is an incredible saxophonist and music director. He has worked with some of the best artists in the business including Prince and the Revolution, Sheila E., Beyoncé, Stevie Nicks, Yolanda Adams, and many more. Eddie and Avery's families have known each other since the early 1970s. This musical combination has taken the new album project to the next level!
This new album is definitely going to the next level. Hang on to your hats everyone ... because joining Avery on this project is the legendary CCM/R&B recording artist Jon Gibson. One of the best vocalists on the planet, JG comes to the table with some serious credentials: 22 Top Five hits, 9 Number 1 hits, and CCM Magazine Album of the Year. Avery describes Jon as "my brother and my friend." We simply cannot wait for you to hear what these guys have done together in the studio. OH MY GOODNESS!!!
